ORANGE, VT — A Montpelier man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash Wednesday evening.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to the crash at approximately 6:35 p.m. on U.S. Route 302 near Reservoir Road.
The operator was identified as Aaron Alexander, 60, of Montpelier.
While speaking with Alexander, troopers observed indicators of impairment.
Alexander was arrested and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
Alexander was driving a 2020 Toyota 4-Runner, which sustained minor front-end damage.
No injuries were reported.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
Alexander was released and issued a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on Feb. 18, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
