Two arrested on drug charges in Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, NY — State Police arrested two men on multiple drug charges following a traffic stop on State Route 29A on February 3, 2026.

Kyle Z. Case, 35, of Amsterdam, was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance third degree, a class B felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance fourth degree, a class C felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance fifth degree, a class D felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor; criminally using drug paraphernalia second degree, a class A misdemeanor; and a vehicle and traffic law violation.

Robert F. Seeley, 45, of Gloversville, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance third degree, a class B felony; two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor; and criminally using drug paraphernalia second degree, a class A misdemeanor.

Troopers stopped a vehicle on State Route 29A at about 10:58 a.m. for a vehicle and traffic law violation.

Case was identified as the driver and Seeley as the passenger.

The investigation discovered felony weight narcotics and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, according to police.

Both men were arrested and transported to State Police Fonda for processing.

They were then brought to the Fulton County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
