MALONE, NY — Members of the Malone Police Department executed a search warrant at 51 West Street on Feb. 5, 2026.
The operation was conducted with assistance from the New York State Police Troop B Community Stabilization Unit, Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and the Northern Regional Special Response Team.
Rebecca A. Whitney, 55, of Malone, was arrested and charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.
Whitney also faces two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.
Additional charges against Whitney include criminal nuisance in the first degree, a class E felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor; and three counts of criminal possession of drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Megan J. Follett, 31, of Malone, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a class A misdemeanor.
