AUBURN, NY — A man was arrested following a domestic incident that included an assault and property damage on Feb. 2.
Officers were dispatched to 253 Genesee Street at approximately 10:40 a.m. for a domestic-related incident.
The victim reported that his boyfriend, Kevin R. Breese, 29, of Auburn, had assaulted him earlier that morning by hitting and punching him about his head and body.
The victim said he was punched in the mouth and began bleeding before leaving the residence.
At approximately 10:30 a.m., Breese FaceTimed the victim to show him smashing his PlayStation 4 on the ground, making it inoperable, according to police.
The victim showed officers text messages from Breese threatening to slash the tires on his vehicle, which was still parked at Breese’s residence.
The victim was transported to the residence where he found all four tires slashed on his vehicle.
Breese was located and arrested without incident.
Based on a previous domestic-related criminal contempt conviction in 2023, Breese was charged with an additional felony offense.
Breese was transported to Auburn City Court for arraignment where he was issued an order of protection and released.
Breese was charged with aggravated family offense, a class E felony; two counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, a class A misdemeanor; and harassment in the second degree, a violation.
