MANCHESTER, NH — A six-hour standoff ended with the arrest of a wanted man who was found hiding in an eave on the second floor of a Laurel Street residence.
Manchester SWAT responded to 442 Laurel St. at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 4, 2026, to serve arrest and search warrants for a wanted individual.
David Wilson, 41, of Manchester, was wanted on multiple charges, including Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute, Reckless Conduct with a Deadly Weapon, Disobeying an Officer, and Failure to Appear.
Detectives had received information that Wilson was at the address and may be armed.
Police set up a perimeter and called out to Wilson on the loudspeaker.
Several individuals came out of the residence, but Wilson did not.
Negotiators made more than three dozen calls to Wilson in an attempt to negotiate with him, but they were unable to make contact.
They continued to make announcements over the course of six hours and deployed chemical munitions into the building.
Despite this, Wilson did not exit.
SWAT officers entered the building and located Wilson in an eave on the second floor.
A small bundle, determined to be crack cocaine, was located in Wilson’s sock.
Inside the residence, police also located a loaded 9mm firearm and suspected heroin/fentanyl.
Wilson was charged with Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Drug, Possession with Intent to Distribute, Felonious Use of a Firearm, and Armed Career Criminal.
