WEST GREENWICH, RI — A Providence man was arrested on weapons charges following a traffic stop on Route 95.
Darniel Polanco Cortorreal, 21, of Providence, was taken into custody at 11:53 a.m.
He was charged with license/permit required for carrying a pistol and large capacity feeding devices prohibited.
Cortorreal was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed.
He was later transported to Third District Court for arraignment.
Woman arrested on warrant in North Providence

NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI — A West Warwick woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Bryanna Garcia, 22, of West Warwick, was taken into custody at 8:50 p.m.
She was charged with an affidavit arrest warrant for driving with suspended/revoked/cancelled license, fourth offense.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation with North Providence Police locating Garcia.
Garcia was transported to State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed and arraigned by the justice of peace.
She was released with a future Second Division District Court date.
