PALMER TOWNSHIP, PA — A 58-year-old man was taken into custody on outstanding warrants related to a theft investigation.

Ralph G. Daney, of Pennsylvania, was arrested by Palmer Township Police Department at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday.

The arrest stems from a Jan. 15 report to Nazareth Police Department in which a victim reported the theft of several gasoline-powered tools.

Following an investigation and witness statements, Nazareth police identified Daney as the suspect.

Charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property were filed, and a warrant was issued through District Justice Capobianco’s office.

Palmer Township police located Daney in their jurisdiction Sunday evening.

Nazareth police responded to the scene, and Daney was transported to Northampton County Prison.
