Multiple arrests reported in Salamanca

SALAMANCA, NY — The Salamanca Police Department reported multiple arrests between Jan. 27 and Jan. 31.

On Jan. 27, Patrick Hathaway, 27, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court.

Hathaway was held for arraignment.

On Jan. 28, Rose Bickford, 44, of Salamanca, was taken into custody and charged with second-degree harassment with physical contact.

Bickford was processed and released with an appearance ticket for a later court date.

Mitchell Richardson, 25, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a complaint of a domestic incident on Jan. 28.

Richardson was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree unlawful imprisonment and endangering the welfare of a child.

While being placed in custody, Richardson was additionally charged with resisting arrest and second-degree obstruction.

Richardson was processed and held for arraignment.

On Jan. 30, Jason Bees, 43, of Russell, Pennsylvania, was taken into custody and charged with third-degree grand larceny for an incident that occurred in 2022.

Bees was turned over to the custody of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Jason Watson, 46, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following reports of a domestic incident on Jan. 30.

Watson was charged with first-degree criminal contempt of a court order, second-degree harassment with physical contact, criminal obstruction of breathing and aggravated family offense.

Watson was processed and held for arraignment.

Zachariah Leonard, 24, of Salamanca, was taken into custody on Jan. 30 and charged with second-degree harassment.

Leonard was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

On Jan. 31, Brennin Reynolds, 30, of Salamanca, was taken into custody and charged with appearing in public under the influence of drugs.

Reynolds was issued an appearance ticket for a later court date.

Jamie Lore, 43, of the town of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the city on Jan. 31.

Lore was charged with no registration on the vehicle, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and operating a motor vehicle with the registration suspended.

Lore was issued tickets and released with a later court date.

Cole Farmer, 29, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the city on Jan. 31.

Farmer was charged with driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction in the previous 10 years, refusal to take a breath test, operating an unregistered motor vehicle on a highway, failure to use designated lane, failure to keep right, improper turn and driving to the left of pavement markings.

Farmer was processed and held for arraignment.

Angela Fernandez, 52, of Salamanca, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in the city on Jan. 31.

Fernandez was issued tickets for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating a motor vehicle with no insurance and operating an uninspected motor vehicle.

Fernandez was released from the scene with a later court date.
