WARWICK, RI — A man was arrested on two outstanding warrants following a motor vehicle stop Tuesday morning.
Adeyanju Adewusi, 31, of East Providence, was taken into custody at 8:08 a.m. on East Avenue.
Adewusi was wanted on a failure to appear for restitution review Superior Full Bench Court warrant on an original charge of passing counterfeit certificates, which originated with the Warren Police Department.
He also was wanted on a failure to appear for restitution review Superior Full Bench warrant for original charges of forgery and counterfeiting, which originated with the Warwick Police Department.
Adewusi was transported to the State Police-Wickford Barracks, where he was processed.
He was later transported to Third District Court for morning arraignment.
