ALBANY, NY — Police are investigating a stabbing that left a 15-year-old boy injured Sunday afternoon.
Officers responded to the area of Lark Street and Orange Street around 4:05 p.m. for reports of an individual stabbed.
Upon arrival, officers found the teen with stab wounds to his hand and abdomen.
The stabbing is believed to have occurred in the area of Henry Johnson Boulevard and Sheridan Avenue.
The victim was treated on scene by the Albany Fire Department and emergency medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
