WASHINGTON, PA — Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred early Sunday morning on Shannon Avenue.
Officers from the City of Washington Police Department responded to the 40 block of Shannon Avenue at approximately 5:52 a.m. for a reported shots fired incident.
Patrol officers located multiple fresh shell casings at the scene upon arrival.
Detectives were called to the scene to further investigate the incident.
Investigators processed the scene and conducted initial interviews.
No injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
The City of Washington Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance.
