WORCESTER, MA — A multi-agency investigation led to the recovery of two firearms and a large quantity of illegal narcotics during the execution of a search warrant on Pleasant Street.
Michael Harris, 31, of Worcester, was observed exiting the building at approximately 9:20 a.m. on Feb. 2, 2026, and was stopped a short distance away.
The Worcester Police Department SWAT Team made entry into the apartment and executed the warrant.
During the search, detectives recovered two firearms, including one that was previously reported stolen, along with ammunition.
Investigators also seized 95.4 grams of fentanyl, 112.5 grams of methamphetamine, 497 grams of cocaine and packaging materials.
Police seized $1,368 in U.S. currency during the execution of the warrant.
Harris was charged with possession of a firearm without a FID (two counts), possession of ammunition without a FID, trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking Class B over 200 grams, trafficking in methamphetamine over 100 grams, use of a firearm in commission of a felony (three counts), receiving stolen property, improper storage of a firearm and possession of a firearm without a serial number.
The investigation was conducted by the Worcester Police Department Crime Gun Intelligence Unit, Gang Unit and Detective Bureau, with assistance from the ATF, DEA and Worcester County Sheriff’s Office.
