TOPSHAM, ME — Police responded to a bomb threat at all Topsham-based schools at 5:30 a.m. Sunday.
A voice message was left at each school claiming bombs had been placed on campus, according to Chief Marc Hagan.
Officers searched each school and found no suspicious items.
Police learned that numerous schools across Maine received similar threats.
The threat is not considered credible and there is no danger to the public, Hagan said.
The investigation into the source of the threats is continuing.
