NEW YORK, NY — A 60-year-old man was arrested Jan. 31, 2026, at the Jacob Javits Center on multiple theft-related charges.
Investigators from Troop NYC Manhattan Criminal Squad arrested Allan Jackson, of the Bronx, for multiple cases of burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny and false personation.
While assigned to the Westminster Dog Show at the Jacob Javits Center, investigators observed a male who fit the description of a suspect wanted for several thefts at the convention center.
The male unsuccessfully attempted to enter the ticketed show and gave a false identity when approached and questioned by investigators.
Jackson was placed under arrest for three previous incidents dating back to November 2025, as well as the false personation.
He was transported to the NYPD 10th Precinct for processing and then taken to Manhattan Central Booking to be arraigned at a later date.
Jackson faces charges of burglary in the third degree, a class D felony; two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony; petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor; and false personation, a class B misdemeanor.
