MAYFIELD, NY — The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company responded to a structure fire on County Highway 155 on Saturday at 8:48 p.m.
The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was toned out for mutual aid.
Police and Lake Valley EMS were also dispatched to the scene.
A Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company incident commander reported the fire was caused by a problem with a pellet stove.
Other responding units were advised to downgrade their response.
A chimney box was brought in to clean out the stove.
