WICKFORD, RI — A West Warwick man was arrested early Sunday on an outstanding warrant for fraudulent checks.
Paul Raimondo, 53, of West Warwick, was taken into custody at 1:54 a.m. following a motor vehicle stop on Main Street.
Raimondo was arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant on a charge of fraudulent checks over $1,500.
The warrant originated from the Tiverton Police Department.
Raimondo was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks.
He was later turned over to the Tiverton Police Department.
