WEST SENECA, NY — The West Seneca Police Department arrested a Buffalo man in connection with multiple bomb threats made against Rosina Food Products facilities in January.
On Jan. 15, police responded to a bomb threat received by telephone at a Rosina Food Products call center, affecting multiple company facilities.
Police coordinated precautionary safety measures at several locations.
No explosive devices were found and the facilities were cleared as safe.
On Jan. 28, police responded to another bomb threat believed to have been made by the same individual.
Officers conducted checks of the facility, and again, no suspicious items were found.
Investigators later identified further threats consistent with the initial incidents.
Detectives traced the origin of the communications to an associated IP address, which led to the identification of the suspect.
Timothy G. Barlow, 37, of Buffalo, was arrested at his residence after police executed a search warrant on Jan. 29.
Barlow was charged with making a terroristic threat, making a threat of mass harm, and aggravated harassment.
He was arraigned in West Seneca Justice Court and remanded to the Erie County Holding Center pending further court proceedings.
