WESTFIELD, VT — Vermont State Police are investigating reports of vehicle vandalism at a trailhead parking lot on Route 242.
Two vehicles were damaged between Jan. 1, 2026, and Jan. 3, 2026, according to police.
The windshields of both vehicles appeared to have been repeatedly smashed with a blunt object, puncturing and shattering the glass, police said.
The incidents occurred in the trailhead parking lot at the top of Route 242.
