RED HOOK, NY — A Pine Plains man has been charged with stealing firearms from a home in the Town of Red Hook, police said.
Red Hook Police received a complaint on Jan. 9 reporting that firearms had been stolen from a local residence.
After a three-week investigation, detectives arrested Patrick M. Lupoli, 31, of Pine Plains.
Police determined that Lupoli had permission to be inside the home but took multiple firearms, which have since been recovered.
Lupoli was charged with grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, both felonies.
He was processed and released on tickets, with a future court date scheduled.
