MANOR TOWNSHIP, PA — A 25-year-old man who fled from police during a domestic altercation was captured following a multi-agency manhunt.
Manor Township Police responded to a residence on Garretts Run Road at approximately 12:37 a.m. on Jan. 28, 2026, for a report of a physical altercation with injuries involving several individuals.
Lewis Abell of Manor Township fled the scene as officers arrived.
Police said Abell participated in the altercation and caused bodily injury to another male at the residence.
Abell also had an active arrest warrant with Pennsylvania State Parole.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. the same day, members of the Manor Township Police Department, Southern Armstrong Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police, Pennsylvania State Parole and the U.S. Marshals successfully captured Abell.
Police said there was no danger to the community.
