Multiple arrests reported in Salamanca

SALAMANCA, NY — The Salamanca Police Department reported several arrests between Jan. 20 and Jan. 25.

On Jan. 20, Brian Johnson, 39, of Salamanca was taken into custody on three bench warrants issued out of Salamanca City Court.

While in custody, Johnson was additionally charged with two counts of making a terroristic threat and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.

Johnson was processed and held for arraignment.

On Jan. 21, Sean Ames, 57, of Jamestown was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for criminal contempt of a court order in the first degree.

He was processed and held for arraignment.

On Jan. 23, Kaleb Cooper, 27, of Steamburg was taken into custody following a motor vehicle accident in the city.

Cooper was charged with move from lane unsafely, aggravated unlicensed operation in the second degree and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

Cooper was released with an appearance ticket for a later court date.

Also on Jan. 23, James Riddle, 42, of Salamanca was taken into custody following a roadside investigation.

Riddle was charged with DWI first offense, DWI BAC greater than .08%, aggravated DWI BAC greater than .18%, fail to give half the road, moved from lane unsafely and unlicensed operator.

Riddle was processed and released with an appearance ticket for a later court date.

On Jan. 24, Jacob Ling, 26, of Salamanca was taken into custody following a domestic incident in the city.

Ling was charged with harassment in the second degree and criminal contempt of a court order in the first degree.

Ling was processed and held for arraignment.

On Jan. 25, Christopher Bise, 44, of Salamanca was taken into custody following an incident in the city.

Bise was charged with assault in the third degree.

Bise was processed and held for arraignment.

Also on Jan. 25, Judith Redeye, 32, of Salamanca was taken into custody on an arrest warrant issued out of Salamanca City Court.

Redeye was charged with harassment in the second degree physical contact.

Redeye was processed and held for arraignment.
