NORWOOD, MA — A Norwood man has been arrested on charges related to the possession of child pornography and the distribution of obscene material.
Kevin Cobb, 45, of Norwood, was arrested by the Norwood Police Department following an investigation.
The investigation was initiated by Detective Jennifer Hoyle after she was referred a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Detective Hoyle, a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, worked in coordination with the ICAC Task Force and partner law enforcement agencies to obtain both an arrest warrant for Cobb and a search warrant for his residence.
The matter remains under investigation.
