SHAFTSBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 19-year-old woman on a stalking charge following a report of harassing and threatening behavior.
Emily Jean Fachini, of Pownal, was taken into custody on Jan. 25 at 7:30 p.m. on Murphy Hill Road.
Police received the initial report on Jan. 24 at 1:18 a.m.
Through investigation, police determined Fachini engaged in stalking behaviors targeting another woman of Shaftsbury.
Fachini was transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing.
She was charged with one count of stalking and released on conditions.
Fachini is ordered to appear in Bennington County court on Jan. 27 at 12:30 p.m.
