WETHERSFIELD, CT — Police are investigating after finding an unresponsive driver dead inside a vehicle Friday night.
Wethersfield police officers responded to 1381 Berlin Turnpike at approximately 10:44 p.m. Jan. 23 to check on a vehicle that had been parked with its headlights on for an extended period.
Upon arrival, officers found a 2025 Honda HRV with Connecticut license plate BS17813 with an unresponsive operator inside.
No other individuals were at the scene.
Aetna ambulance personnel arrived and pronounced the operator dead.
Wethersfield police detectives responded and are actively investigating the incident.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner took custody of the deceased for further investigation.
