ALLENTOWN, PA — A man died after being shot Thursday night on Washington Street, police said.
Officers responded to the 500 block of Washington Street around 9:15 p.m. for a report of a shooting.
Police found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers provided first aid before Allentown EMS transported the victim to a local hospital.
The victim died at the hospital.
The Allentown Police Department is investigating the incident in coordination with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
