WORCESTER, MA — A man was arrested early Thursday morning after police say he stole a vehicle from Homestead Avenue.
Worcester Police officers were dispatched at approximately 3:34 a.m. on Jan. 23, 2026, for a report of a stolen motor vehicle.
The victim provided officers with a description of the vehicle.
Officers located the vehicle in the area of Hammond and Main streets.
The operator pulled over on Silver Street.
He was ordered from the vehicle and placed into handcuffs.
Video surveillance showed the operator breaking into the vehicle.
Michael Lobo, 43, of Worcester, was charged with felony breaking and entering of a vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, use of a motor vehicle without authority and other charges.
The vehicle was returned to its owner.
