FAYSTON, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a 42-year-old man on multiple charges following a reported restraining order violation on Jan. 23.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to North Fayston Road at approximately 2:41 p.m. after receiving a report of a restraining order violation.
An investigation revealed that Tommy O. Crawford, of Fayston, violated his restraining order and assaulted a domestic partner, according to police.
Crawford was arrested and charged with two counts of violation of abuse prevention order, second-degree aggravated domestic assault, second-degree unlawful restraint and interference with access to emergency services.
He was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
Crawford was issued a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Washington County, Criminal Division on Jan. 26 at 12:30 p.m.
He was later lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex on $2,000 cash bail.
