Man issued summons for disorderly conduct in Portland

PORTLAND, ME — Portland Police responded to a disturbance at the Residence Inn at 145 Fore Street on Thursday at 10:07 p.m.

A crowd estimated at over 50 people had gathered and were blowing whistles, banging on drums and causing disturbances inside the lobby.

The noise was disturbing hotel guests and others in the area.

The group was told several times if they did not disperse, individuals would be charged with disorderly conduct.

Peach Cushing, 28, of Brunswick, was issued a criminal summons in lieu of arrest for disorderly conduct.
