4 women sought in retail theft at Stroud Township mall

STROUD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police are searching for four suspects accused of stealing more than $600 worth of merchandise from a department store.

Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the JCPenney store at 300 Stroud Mall on Aug. 15 at 2:34 p.m. for a report of a retail theft involving two adult females and two juveniles.

One of the adult females was identified as Dajai S. Allen.

Allen was observed taking several clothing items and concealing them into bags with the other females, according to police.

All four individuals left the store without paying, depriving JCPenney of $666.92 worth of merchandise.

Loss prevention followed the females out of the store and obtained the registration plate of the vehicle they left in.

The vehicle was registered to Allen.

Allen has two previous convictions for retail theft and was recently arrested in Dickson City for retail theft, police said.

Charges were filed and a felony arrest warrant was issued for Dajai Shayane Allen.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Allen is asked to contact Stroud Area Regional Police.
