WATERBURY, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a New Hampshire man on a DUI charge following a four-vehicle crash on Waterbury Stowe Road on Saturday night.
Dylan Lee Gamache, 54, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, was traveling south on Waterbury Stowe Road near 3438 Waterbury Stowe Road when he crossed over the center line at 7:39 p.m., causing the crash, police said.
Gamache was driving a 2011 Audi A4 that was totaled in the collision.
The second vehicle, a 2026 BMW X7, was operated by Santiago Debrigard, 44, of Miramar, Florida, and carried a passenger, Laura Cardoso, 43, also of Miramar, Florida.
Debrigard and Cardoso sustained suspected minor injuries and were transported to Central Vermont Medical Center.
The third vehicle, a 2021 Toyota RAV4, was operated by Hugh Ickrath, 61, of Manassas, Virginia.
Ickrath was injured and transported to Central Vermont Medical Center.
The fourth vehicle, a 2022 Ford F-150, was operated by Michael Brigati, 61, of Hyde Park.
Brigati was not injured.
Weather conditions were clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
Troopers observed signs of impairment while speaking with Gamache at the scene, police said.
Gamache was taken into custody and transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear in Washington Superior Court on Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m.
