Man surrenders on manslaughter charge in Danbury

DANBURY, CT — A man wanted on an active warrant turned himself in to police on Jan. 15, 2026.

David Grullon Jr., also known as “Davicito,” of Danbury, voluntarily surrendered to the Danbury Police Department at 6:30 p.m.

Grullon was taken into custody without incident.

He was charged with manslaughter in the second degree, criminal possession of a pistol/revolver, two counts of risk of injury to a minor, illegal discharge of a firearm, breach of peace in the second degree and reckless endangerment in the first degree.

Grullon is being held on $1 million bond, which includes a gun-related bond enhancement.
