SHERBURNE, NY — A woman was arrested during a traffic stop on Jan. 12, 2026.
Roxy K. Newby, 38, of New Berlin, was taken into custody by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the town of Sherburne.
The operator was identified as Newby, who was found to have an active arrest warrant issued by the City of Norwich Police Department.
Newby was arrested without incident and turned over to Norwich police.
She was charged on the warrant.
