GREENBUSH, ME — Two men were arrested early Jan. 13 following a vehicle pursuit that ended with the discovery of illegal drugs, according to the Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were conducting an investigation on French Settlement Road in Milford at approximately 1:30 a.m. when a vehicle approached their location and abruptly stopped.
Deputies observed multiple violations and attempted to stop the vehicle.
The vehicle failed to stop and continued toward Greenbush.
Additional deputies responded to the area and attempted to get the vehicle to stop.
The vehicle traveled through Milford, Greenfield and Greenbush before finally stopping.
During the investigation, deputies located illegal drugs hidden behind the glovebox of the vehicle.
Caleb Tremblay, 36, of Patten, was arrested and charged with multiple traffic and drug offenses.
Milton Rennebu, 45, of Milford, was also arrested and charged with traffic and drug offenses.
The investigation remains active.
