HOOKSETT, NH — Police are investigating after a vehicle’s window was shattered Monday evening in what appears to be a BB gun shooting.
The Hooksett Police Department received a report at approximately 5 p.m. of a damaged window on a brown Cadillac TX5 that had been traveling on Hooksett Road in the area of Alice Avenue.
The operator reported hearing a loud bang that was initially believed to be a popped tire, but was soon realized to be a broken window.
The operator was not injured.
Officers observed the rear window was shattered, with a distinct hole in the side.
In the area, officers located what appeared to be a BB from a BB gun.
Within minutes of the initial report, the Hooksett Police received additional calls and reports of witnesses hearing shots fired in the areas of Lindsay Road and Granite Heights at 1465 Hooksett Road.
