LINCOLN, RI — A Warwick man was arrested on multiple charges following a state police investigation.
Richard A. Forcier, 52, of Warwick, was taken into custody at 8:15 p.m. by state troopers.
Forcier faces charges of reckless driving eluding law enforcement first offense, reckless driving first offense, obstructing an officer in execution of duty, driving with a suspended license fourth and subsequent offense, and weapons other than firearms prohibited.
The arrest resulted from an investigation by the Lincoln Woods Barracks, with assistance from the Warwick Police Department in locating Forcier.
Forcier was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight as a probation violator.
He was scheduled for morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court.
