WATERBURY, VT — A man was arrested after allegedly approaching another man with an axe during a dispute on George’s Way.
Vermont State Police received a report of a citizen dispute between Jason Siegel, 51, of Waterbury, and Justin Murray, 30, of Waterbury, at 6:48 a.m. Jan. 12, 2026.
Investigation revealed that Siegel approached Murray with an axe, which caused Murray to fear serious bodily injury.
Murray disarmed Siegel.
Siegel was placed under arrest and brought to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
He was charged with aggravated assault.
