MOREAU, NY — A Glens Falls man was arrested on a drunken driving charge following a property damage crash Thursday evening.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the collision at 5:21 p.m. on Reynolds Road.
Harvey G. Hveem Jr., 40, of Glens Falls, was charged with driving while intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor, and following too closely, an infraction.
Hveem is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.
He allegedly refused a chemical test.
Hveem is also accused of following another vehicle more closely than was reasonable and prudent under the circumstances.
He allegedly struck that vehicle from behind.
No injuries were reported.
Hveem was released on appearance tickets at the direction of Moreau Town Court Judge Jeffrey B. McCabe pending court proceedings.
