Three arrested on larceny charges in Wilton

WILTON, NY — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an active larceny complaint Friday at 10:57 p.m. at the Walmart.

Investigation into the matter led to the arrest of Monajah L. Golston, 19, of Troy, New York, Shangali N. Thompson, 22, of Albany, New York, and Lyric N. Thompson, 22, of Albany, New York.

Golston was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony, and conspiracy in the sixth degree, a class B misdemeanor.

She is alleged to have stolen merchandise from the store that had a value in excess of $1,000 and to have agreed with one or more persons to commit a crime.

Shangali Thompson was charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a class E felony, and conspiracy in the sixth degree, a class B misdemeanor.

He is alleged to have stolen merchandise from the store that had a value in excess of $1,000 and to have agreed with one or more persons to commit a crime.

Lyric Thompson was charged with petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor, and conspiracy in the sixth degree, a class B misdemeanor.

She is accused of stealing merchandise from the store and to have agreed with one or more persons to commit a crime.

All three were released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Wilton Town Court.
