MARYLAND, NY — A 61-year-old woman faces multiple felony charges following an investigation into fraudulent financial transactions.
Cathleen L. Mann, of Burlington, was arrested Saturday on charges of second-degree grand larceny and 57 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office said Mann allegedly wrote fraudulent checks and made unauthorized use of a debit card for an amount exceeding $50,000.
Mann was held for centralized arraignment in Town of Maryland Court.
An order of protection was issued for the victim.
