PORT CHESTER, NY — Police arrested a 31-year-old Washington state man on robbery and assault charges after he allegedly stole property from a victim during an argument and then fought with arresting officers.
The arrest was among several made by Port Chester police over the past two weeks.
A 37-year-old Port Chester resident was picked up in Nassau County on a violation of a domestic order of protection.
A 21-year-old Norwalk resident was charged with DWI after a traffic stop in the early morning hours of New Year’s Eve.
A 29-year-old New Rochelle man was charged with disorderly conduct for urinating in public view.
A 43-year-old Port Chester resident was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance after being found with narcotics on his person in the court.
A 25-year-old Yonkers resident was picked up in Tarrytown on an open warrant for violating an order of protection.
Two Yonkers residents, ages 38 and 39, were charged with grand larceny for shoplifting from Kohl’s and had security removal devices in their possession.
Police also issued two summonses for operating e-bikes on the sidewalk.
