PROVIDENCE, RI — A Woonsocket man was arrested Thursday in connection with a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Route 146.
Michael Carvahlo, 30, of Woonsocket, was taken into custody at 12:50 p.m. by state troopers.
Carvahlo was charged with obstructing an officer in execution of duty, duty to stop for accident with attended vehicle, and reckless driving.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Carvahlo was arraigned and presented as a probation violator.
He was transported to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.
