SCITUATE, RI — A Providence woman turned herself in to state police on multiple fraud charges Tuesday morning.
Troopers arrested Odette Delgado, 63, of Providence, at 11:30 a.m. at the Scituate Barracks.
Delgado faces seven charges: obtaining money under false pretenses greater than $1,500 and less than $5,000, fraudulent use of a credit card greater than $100 in a six-month period, giving false documents to a public official, obtaining a credit card through fraudulent means, and receipt of money obtained by fraudulent use of a credit card.
The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation.
Delgado was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
She was released with a future Sixth District Court date.
