STOCKHOLM, NY — New York State Police charged Jesse D. Cali, 30, of Winthrop, with petit larceny on Jan. 8, 2026.
On Nov. 22, 2024, at approximately 4:03 p.m., troopers responded to ABCD Hardware, located on State Route 11C in the town of Stockholm, for a reported larceny.
An investigation determined that Cali stole merchandise valued at $259.99 by passing all points of purchase without rendering payment.
Troopers actively searched for Cali, and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued by the Town of Stockholm Court.
Troopers were later notified that Cali had been taken into custody in Erie County on unrelated charges.
Once it was confirmed that Cali was incarcerated, the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision transported him to SP Granville for processing on the petit larceny charge.
Cali was then returned to DOCCS custody and transported to a Washington County correctional facility for the unrelated charges.
