LITTLETON, NH — The Littleton Police Department arrested two people Thursday in connection with a vandalism incident that occurred in June.
Richard Leslie Jr., 21, and Olivia Williams, 19, both of Littleton, were taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief.
The vandalism occurred on Mill Street on June 21.
Police said investigators identified both individuals as suspects following a thorough investigation, and arrest warrants were issued.
Investigators reviewed all available evidence, including the circumstances surrounding the incident and any potential motivations.
Police determined the vandalism was not motivated by bias or hate as defined under New Hampshire law.
The case was submitted to the Office of the Attorney General, Civil Rights Bureau, which concurred with the police department’s findings.
The Attorney General’s Office determined the incident does not meet the legal criteria to be classified as a hate crime.
Both individuals were released on personal recognizance bail.
They are scheduled to appear at Littleton District Court for arraignment on March 10, 2026, at 8 a.m.
