SOUTH WINDSOR, CT — A Portland man was arrested on an active warrant stemming from a September crash.
Tyler S. Landon, 25, of Portland, turned himself in at police headquarters at 10:41 a.m. Wednesday.
The charges stem from a motor vehicle accident in September in which Landon crashed a truck into the Hartford Health Care sign at 1559 Sullivan Avenue after losing control of his vehicle, police said.
During the investigation, police determined Landon was under the influence of alcohol.
Landon was charged with operating under the influence, failure to drive in proper lane, failure to renew registration, improper marker plate and failure to display plates.
He was processed and released on a $2,500 non-surety bond.
Landon is scheduled to appear in Manchester Superior Court at 9 a.m. on Jan. 26.
