GENEVA, NY — The New York State Police Violent Gangs and Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested a Geneva man on drug charges following an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation.
Ahmad J. Whitfield, 45, of Geneva, was arrested Jan. 7, 2026, after he allegedly sold a quantity of cocaine and fentanyl to another person, according to state police.
The investigation was conducted by Troop E-VGNET in coordination with the Geneva Police Department, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.
Whitfield was charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance in the second degree, a class A felony, and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, both class B felonies.
He was processed and transported to the Ontario County Jail for centralized arraignment.
