OWEGO, NY — Owego police made eight arrests during the week of Dec. 29 through Jan. 4, according to a department press release.
Edward M. Ashley, 55, of Owego, was arrested for criminal contempt in the second degree, a misdemeanor, following an investigation of a violation of an order of protection.
Ashley was turned over to Tioga County Sheriff’s custody for arraignment at Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court.
Lacey M. Philippi, 40, of Owego, was arrested for burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and conspiracy in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor, following an investigation of a burglary at a business on North Avenue.
Philippi was turned over to Tioga County Sheriff’s custody for arraignment at Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court and released on own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
Michael K.L. Stone, 31, of Owego, was arrested for burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and conspiracy in the fifth degree, a misdemeanor, following an investigation of a burglary at a business on North Avenue.
Stone was turned over to Tioga County Sheriff’s custody for arraignment at Tioga County Centralized Arraignment Court and released on own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
Robert A. Skope, 47, of Owego, was arrested for obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a misdemeanor, following an investigation of a violation of village ordinance at a residence on East Main Street.
Skope was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Owego Court.
David P. Kolb, 53, of Owego, was arrested for obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, following an investigation of a violation of village ordinance at a residence on East Main Street.
Kolb was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Owego Court.
A 73-year-old Owego woman was taken into custody for a mental health hold after a report of the woman being a danger to herself.
She was transported to a hospital for medical treatment.
Dean A. DeGaramo Jr., 26, of Owego, was arrested for criminal contempt in the second degree, a misdemeanor, following an investigation of a violation of an order of protection.
DeGaramo Jr. was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Owego Court.
Brianne F. O’Neil, 45, of Binghamton, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, a misdemeanor, following a traffic stop on North Avenue.
O’Neil was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Village of Owego Court.
