Man arrested on forcible touching charge in Perth

PERTH, NY — A 46-year-old man was arrested following an investigation into a forcible touching complaint involving a juvenile.

Victor R. Trippodo, of Johnstown, was arrested by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Unit on December 30 at approximately 11:27 a.m.

The investigation centered on incidents that allegedly occurred in the Town of Perth from May 2024 to June 2024.

Trippodo is accused of forcibly touching a juvenile victim during that time frame.

He was charged with one count of forcible touching, a class A misdemeanor, and one count of act in a manner injure a child less than 17, a class A misdemeanor.

Trippodo was processed on the charges and arraigned in CAP Court.

He was remanded to the custody of the Fulton County Correctional Facility.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation and arrest by the New York State Police and the Johnstown Police Department.
