Man arrested on larceny charge in East Hampton

EAST HAMPTON, CT — Police arrested a Glastonbury man on a second-degree larceny charge on Dec. 25.

Robert Scott, 59, of Glastonbury was released upon signing a $20,000 non-surety bond and agreed to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026 at 9 a.m.

In a separate incident on Dec. 25, police investigated a two-car motor vehicle accident on Middletown Avenue at the intersection of Route 196, where one driver fled the scene.

Hanna Kirkpatrick, 30, of East Hampton was issued a summons for evading responsibility.

Kirkpatrick was scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2026 at 9 a.m.

On Dec. 29, William House, 66, of East Hampton was taken into custody pursuant to an active warrant and charged with failure to appear in the second degree.

House posted a $1,500 court-set bond and agreed to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2026 at 9 a.m.

Police also issued tickets to several motorists during the period between Dec. 22 and Jan. 1, 2026.

Joshua Davino, 28, of Watertown was ticketed on Dec. 22 for improper use of a marker plate, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Gabriel Chango, 25, of New Haven was ticketed on Dec. 23 for improper use of a marker plate and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Yarret Taylor, 41, of Middletown was ticketed on Dec. 28 for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Angelica Santiago, 36, of Norwich was ticketed on Dec. 28 for improper use of a marker plate and operating a motor vehicle without a license.

Ernest Kirschner, 78, of East Hampton was issued a summons on Dec. 31 for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

Kirschner is scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026 at 9 a.m.

Frederick Galvin, 62, of East Hampton was issued a summons on Jan. 1, 2026 for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Galvin is scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026 at 9 a.m.
