RANDOLPH, VT — Vermont State Police arrested a Connecticut man on a drug-impaired driving charge following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 89 northbound Monday morning.
Troopers responded to the crash at mile marker 29.2 at approximately 7:15 a.m. Jan. 6, 2026.
The operator was identified as Ben Goldschlager, 29, of Westport, Connecticut.
Goldschlager was transported to Gifford Medical Center and showed signs of impairment, police said.
He was processed for DUI drug and cited to appear in Orange County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on March 25, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.
